Safety & Compliance.

How no-entry cleaning reduces risk, and what the machine is rated for.

Is no-entry cleaning safer than manual cleaning?

Yes. The largest risk in tank cleaning is human exposure to the tank atmosphere. The S6 removes the person from the tank entirely — the crew works from outside, at a safe distance, watching the work on cameras.

What is the IP rating of the robot?

The S6 is IP66 rated — sealed against dust and powerful water jets — so it can work in wash-down environments and around high-pressure water without damage. An IP68 option is available on the S7.

Does the robot remove the need for permits?

If no one enters the tank, the confined-space entry process is largely set aside — no entry permit, no gas testing for entry, no rescue standby. Site-specific procedures may still apply, so confirm with your safety team.

What safety features does the S6 have?

The operator stays at a safe distance, the robot is fully sealed (IP66), and the cleaning head operates only under operator control. Our engineers also confirm residue compatibility before every job to avoid hazardous reactions.
