The Robot.

What the S6 and S7 are, how they get into a tank and what they can clean.

What is the S6 tank cleaning robot?

The S6 is a tracked, remote-controlled robot that cleans enclosed tanks and vessels with high-pressure water jetting — up to 200 bar through a rotating 360° nozzle. It carries three HD cameras and is driven entirely from outside the tank.

How does the robot get inside the tank?

The S6 is lowered through the manway, hatch or access opening on an armoured cable that carries power, water and video in one line. Once inside, its tracked chassis moves across the floor, over sediment and up to 30° slopes.

What can the S6 clean?

Sludge, scale, biofilm and hardened residue from tank walls, floors, corners and baffles — in industrial, oil, chemical, water, cargo and sludge tanks. It handles surfaces a lance or brush cannot reach.

What is the difference between the S6 and the S7?

The S6 is the standard platform. The S7 is a custom-built variant: dimensions, pressure (up to 350 bar), materials, cable length, cameras and nozzles are configured around your specific tanks and residue.

Can the robot work in flammable environments?

No. The S6 is built for non-flammable, non-explosive tank environments. Always confirm the atmosphere and residue chemistry with our engineers before a job.
