Tank Compatibility.
Which tanks, access points and materials the robot can work with.
What tank sizes can the S6 clean?
The S6 works across a wide range of vessel sizes — from small process tanks to large industrial and storage tanks — because it drives the surface rather than relying on a fixed boom. The limiting factors are manway size and cable reach (up to 100 m).
What access does the robot need to enter a tank?
The robot enters through a manway, hatch or access opening large enough to pass the unit. The standard S6 requires roughly a 500 mm opening; custom S7 units can be built around tighter access.
Which tank materials can it clean safely?
Stainless steel, carbon steel, coated and lined vessels. Because the operator controls the pressure, the S6 can be gentle on coatings when needed and aggressive on hardened residue when it is not.
Can it clean tanks with baffles or internal structures?
Yes. The rotating 360° nozzle and tracked chassis let the robot reach behind baffles and around internal fittings — areas where fixed lances and brushes leave residue behind.

No Entry Required.
Tell us about your tanks — size, contents and access — and we'll recommend the right S6 setup for your operation.
S6 is built for non-flammable, non-explosive tank environments. Always confirm material and safety conditions with our engineers.
